Johnston Investment Counsel's performance measurement reports are designed to assist clients in determining the effectiveness of their investment program.

Johnston Investment Counsel's performance reports include both an executive summary section as well as a detailed analysis section. Clients can therefore go into as little or as much detail as they would like. Johnston Investment Counsel's executive summary section includes:

• An overview of capital market returns and summary of the portfolios key performance drivers,
• Total fund, stock and bond allocation analysis versus policy and historical allocation,
• Total fund, equity and bond segment performance rankings,
• An analysis of the portfolio's risk and return characteristics, and
• JIC specific recommendations with respect to allocation and/or investment managers.

Johnston Investment Counsel's detailed analysis includes:

• A written summary of each manager's performance results, and
• Analysis of each manager's return, risk, and portfolio characteristics versus style-specific benchmarks.
